The Harcourt has just launched a Midsommar menu that will be available for lunch and dinner from the 19th until the 25th of June, so prepared to be dazzled.
Not only it is a proper feast with Akvavit pairing (yes they serve different types of Akvavit and each one has a mind-blowing story behind it), but every dish is unique in the sense that it is the result of an extraordinary fusion between European and Scandinavian cuisine.
We begin the experience with a twisted version of the Aviation cocktail and an amuse-bouche.
The starter consists of House Gravadlax with a succulent potato salad, paired with a shot of The Harcourt’s own Akvavit, served with scandinavian home made rye bread, absolutely delicious!
Then came the main, the best Swedish meat balls that I have ever eaten, accompanied of mash potato, brandy sauce, lingonberry and a shot of Linie Akvavit (make sure you ask the waiter for the story behind every Akvavit!).
To finish we enjoy a blueberry cheesecake paired with a slightly sweet Hallands Flader Akvavit shot.
It is a hearty, festive and extremely tasty menu, served by the most talented and professional waiter, in the cutest setting.
As a reminder, this menu is only available between the 19th and the 25th June 2017, so makes sure you book as soon as possible. I believe this is an experience not to be missed.
