THE TEXTURE MIX

Hello everyone and happy Friday! The weekend is here so I hope you all have a wonderful time.

We are off to York tomorrow for an express trip to visit some family. It is going to be a wet weekend in England so I am packing wellies and comfortable clothes.

In the meantime, let’s talk about this season’s trends! I am loving the velvet wave for sure, but most of all I love the way it is now totally acceptable to mix textures: velvet with satin with wool with leather etc…

In today’s look I mix all of the above but kept in down to two colours: blush pink and navy.

My skirt and boots are from Zara and my merino wool sweater is by H&M. I love these boots (you probably have seen me wearing them on Instagram), they are the perfect shape, colour and the heel is the perfect height (9 cm). The skirt is asymmetrical, in a very soft satin fabric and stunning beehive like pattern. Finally, I love H&M’s merino wool sweaters, I Β bought a couple last year in black and grey and they are still going strong, so when I saw they came in this powder pink colour I didn’t hesitate one second! The cut is loose, more like a boyfriend sweater type. Furthermore, the pink and navy combination is always a good idea! Finally, my bag is one of my all time favourites, and is the classic box medium model by Celine.

I have a few exciting projects planned for October so stay tuned! In the meantime, have a great weekend and embrace Fall!
